The Gunwale

the lone member of the gunwale (from now on referred to as "the gunwale) was birthed in the summer of 1985 in a poorly lit cabin in the woods. after his parents arrived at the conclusion that he had "too much hair for an infant", he was tossed into a swamp 2 and a half weeks later. for the next several years, the gunwale was raised by moths and ate discarded lemon wedges and cardboard to stay alive. after inventing the color orange in 1996, he recieved enough money to purchase his first acoustic guitar. the following year, the gunwale’s first live performance took place under someone’s deck. the concert, which was attended exclusively by old 2x4’s and a bag of grass, was notoriously NOT well recieved (an excerpt from said performance, entitled "Under the Deck" can be listened to above). discouraged but not defeated, the gunwale continues to play music to this day.
