Now playing: Split aka EspeeliyteCheck out more music at www.wemix.com/espeeliyteShort Bio: ERIC SMEAD aka SPLIT aka ESPEELIYTE is a multi-talented musician residing in Enterprise, Alabama. Split has been rhyming since the age of 6 and has been writing his own songs since the age of 12. His love for all the different styles of the music industry has led him to incorporate all of them into one. With help from super-producing genius Bernard Robinson, Jr. aka Outbreak, Eric learned the fundamentals of producing and engineering. He quickly took interest in all aspects of music and began his own independent record label, Espeeliyte Entertainment, and his own production label, Eric Smead Productions (ESP). A 3-year stay in New Jersey allowed for Split to team up with many talented artists in Passaic, Clifton, and Hackensack NJ as well as Manhattan and Bronx NY. He was a major part of the Blazed Out Entertainment label, until a falling out in late 2005 led to the departure of Split. Now trying to provide a great life for his fiance and daughter, Eric is focusing on making this dream come true. He has dedicated countless hours to achieving this, and has mastered almost all relative fields. ----- "I'm one of the few people that you'll meet that writes, raps, produces, records, and engineers his own music. Most of the time these rappers need help with at least one of these aspects of music, if not all of 'em. But I can do it all. Sometimes I just like getting on these mixtapes though and destroying these beats. But it's all business. Tell Eminem and Shady Records to come and pick me up. Tell Ludacris and D.T.P. I would make a perfect addition to the camp. But for real...just tell someone about me...Much love and respect to everyone out there who's listening (and even those of you who aren't) PEACE!"
