About Me

Setting themselves apart from the masses – but never too far from their female fans or a free pint of lager – Tuberats are set to make some serious waves in the UK music scene.
With a cocky mix of influences spanning from Libertines and Arctic Monkeys straight back to the good ol’ days of Led Zeppelin and The Who, these guys are a force to be reckoned with. Being described as nothing short of “kick ass” by industry folk and fans alike, Tuberats' live sets entertain and inspire, giving audiences a healthy dose of rock n roll, with a serious jab of attitude and energy that just won’t quit.
The London-based five piece is led by frontman Alex Horne, who turns heads with his raw vocals and honest-but-cheeky lyrics; while guitarist Gar Rock lends the band its signature vintage flavour underscoring it with folk-rock influences; rhythm guitarist Andy Olsen makes the girls weak in the knees with his classic-come-innovative riffs; Fred Heron punches his bass with in your face funk; and Mark Berry’s undisputed drum stylings bring the band to a new level of slick.
Currently in studio, Tuberats’ new tracks are already positioned to rock the charts.
So, watch this space – 'cos it’s gonna get much bigger soon...
And now the "real" story, as told by the rats themselves...
Sideways walkers get nasty talkers following them round like falsetto stalkers always starkers carrying parkas lost for starters, main course and dessert...
"Once upon a time on the fiery colour of the rainbold, four men of likewise mingling came to meet upon an eve. Much merriment was enjoyed amongst these folk for the joyous occasion expected it was, with Bobby Dylane upon the whirlwind revolver speaker-set.
They decided amongst their furry head-lumps that music must be made, and so with the help of an intoxicating brew or few, they scurried hurriedly into a room, where despite an unhealthy space problem they coerced to melody themselves into a state known by the few who dare.
The resulting mass was a promising mixture of beats and shouting, that whilst wonderful, was missing something Fred Shaped. The Fred was found and all hailed his bassness and a rhythm formed.
Since this sunny day upon a public house outdoor sitting bench the Tuberats have grown upwards and in some cases (outwards where Andy’s hair is now the subject of satellites across the globe). Thinking it was only right and fair, the Tuberats have travelled English roads and drank in many a barnacle in order to spread their wonderous tunes and tingle ears across all sorts of places.
These days will be remembered and rightly so, listen here if you don’t already know."
