To name a few.....Joni Mitchel, Carole King, Indigo Girls, Dixie Chicks, Patty Griffen, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (well his Somewhere Over The Rainbow rendition is great,) Ben Folds, Bonnie Somerville, Ray Charles, Iron and Wine, Ben Harper, Chocolate Genius, David Wilcox, Idina Menzel, Kevin Taylor:), Marcoux Corner, John Mayor, Maroon 5, Johnny Cash, Martin Sexton, Sting, Natalie Merchant, Norah Jones, Rufus Wainwright, Tracy Chapman, Simon and Garfunkel....hmmmm, I'm sure there's more.
Movies:
The most recent movie I saw that I loved was Walk the Line, awesome movie. Nobody Knows, Wedding Crashers, Meet the Parents, Waiting for Guffman, Anchorman, Royal Tenenbaums, (really any movie with the Olsen Brothers, Will Farrell, or Ben Stiller in it) Newsies, Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version) The Incredibles, Life as a House, Legally Blonde, Man on the Moon, Saved, Amelie, Sound of Music, The Excorism of Emily Rose, Almost Famous, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Notebook, old movies, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea.....I'm getting tired of this so thats it.
Television:
That 70's Show, Gilmore Girls, Family Guy, Sex in the City, Will and Grace, those reality tv shows are a guilty pleasure of mine, like project runway, american idol, and america's next top model.
Books:
The Kite Runner, Memoirs of a Geisha, Life of Pi, Harry Potter (all of them), Into The Wild, Chronicles of Narnia (and the rest of the series), The Bluest Eyes, ......I don't know. I really enjoy reading so I've read a lot of books. I always would love getting suggestions on new, good books though!
