First of all Big ups to Bmore and the Easy Street, Street Official, Real 2 Real /Head Nod Family. Im a producer and a musician and I have been grindin like for eva but it seems like some thing is starting to happen. I have 3 tracks on my cousin Barnes album: "Jigglin Shorty", The Intro, and Middle East. His album is in stores now and it is called "The Last Shall Be First" so make sure yall cop dat. I also created the Intro for the Atlanta Falcons that plays when the enter da field. People always want to know where I get my funk from, first I think its because I'm from Baltimore which is a city that has its own music with a lot of crazy rhythms, thanks to 92Q and our back in the day station V103. Second of all I think its because music lives in my heart thanks to my father so u might catch me listening to marvin gaye, donnie hathaway, stevie wonder, minnie rippleton and ae-body in that type of category. You might also catch me listening to miles davis, dizzie gillespy, charlie parker and ova jazz musicians, so when I hit da board and da mpc my mind goes back to dem memories and pull out those harmonies that I used to hearing. And last I think it is because I was always in the marching band especially at Norfolk State University. So I might freak a beat like that because that is what I'm used to hearing thanks to composer and arranger Mr. Paul Adams.
