1984-- Van Halen (yes album, not cd--friggin new schoolers have NO idea) and Synchronicity by the Police compete for the top albums in my book. Also love: the Stone Roses, Connells, almost all old school rap, cheesy stuff like Journey and Def Leppard, all REGGAE music, and tons of other tunes. Don't like country unless it crosses over into almost not being country.
Office Space! Napoleon Dynamite, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Princess Bride, So I married an Axe Murderer, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Clockwork Orange, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Big, Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Scarface, Friday, Fast Times at Ridgemont High,the Star Wars trilogy-------(anything with Jar Jar Binks is questionable and must be debated at length. Worst movie of all time: WILD WILD WEST with Will Smith!
The World Series of Pop Culture better be on every year. BEST SHOW ON TV---PERIOD, NO EXCEPTIONS. You cannot claim to like TV and not watch this. HBO is the best channel, VH1 close second. BEST WEEK EVER on VH1 rocks and I NEVER miss it! The Office (BBC and US versions both!) Heroes, Around the Horn, PTI, SportsCenter, ESPN the Ocho, Sopranos, Entourage, Big Love, Flight of the Conchords, John From Cincy, Earl, Desperate Housewives and Lost!
