I'm just a GRASSHOPPER, learning from the Master..... a work in progress Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com -Ok, I guess I need to finally add some 'blurb' about ME.
I was born in San Jose Calif, and raised in Santa Clara California. Proud to say I'm actually a Calif girl, but was married at age 19 and moved away immediately from the area, and have lived all over the United States since.
I've enjoyed my travels, tho it took awhile to adjust to the early years of adventure away from my parents and family. Life has a balance and I can say that I found it.
I have a wonderful husband Bob, who served 23 years in the U.S. Navy, and since retiring with the Navy, he has worked for a government contract company, so I had the priveledge to travel with him world wide throughout our marriage. Traveling overseas was quite exciting! We have moved alot due to his work, but it has been rewarding and quite a thrill with every new home placement. We have 4 beautiful children and 6 grandbabies. Unfortunately they are not all nearby, and I miss them living where I can spoil all of them.
With our moves in the 'later years', we have had the opportunity to buy a home as we relocate. The decorating of each of our 6 homes has been a learning experience, and thankfully a successful adventure.
We are presently settling into our "retirement home" that we purchased in Dec 2008, and remodeling the place to suit our desires and needs. It will be an ongoing project and I'm thankful that it will be our last home to re-do.
My main interests in life are listed on my website here, but to list them again, I guess what I enjoy the most is being surrounded by music constantly, dancing, socializing, 'writing' and included in that is constant emails or correspondance with those I love. I'm told by others that I'm gifted in photography, and I think I do pretty well in that area myself. I love taking pictures, and always (and I mean ALWAYS) have a camera with me. I love the excessive traveling I do, so the camera just helps me to recall the memories. I enjoy being creative in all areas of life, never settling for the mundane!
I'm known for my constant talking, jabbering, or detailed conversations... what ever you want to label it. I think it is said in a positive manner, and hopefully that is a correct asumption. HA!
