Falling From Grace

About Me

Falling From Grace are a 3 piece pop rock band from Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The band was formed in 2004 by Marky D and Matty after their former bands Crimson and Reluctant respectively broke up. They recruited drummer Mark McClarty to form Falling From Grace. Falling from Grace wanted to merge all the sounds of each band members favourite music and try and make a band different from all the emo and hardcore punk that dominates the punk scene in N.I. The outcome? A pop punk band who want each song to sound different while having a hell of a lot of fun onstage. The band played a series of gigs to try out their new material live before recording in May 2006.The band recorded their debut EP in The Queen's School Of Music for free with amateur producer Phil 'Good Shit' Quinn. Though the CD didn't turn out how the band wanted because of technical problems in the studio, the songs had a lot of good feedback. The debut EP was called "You were good, I was better". It was never sold as a CD but the demo was made available for download on MySpace and Purevolume.Due to working commitments and lack of time FFG briefly broke up in the Summer of 2006. But this was short lived as each band member missed practicing so much and were still passionate about the band. The band have gone back in to the studio- this time with good friend Paul Blue- to rerecord "You were good, I was better" and to record a new song "As A Friend". The release online is pencilled in for the 10th April. Get This Layout I got this layout from totallylayouts.com
