I dabble with guitar, keys,samples write and produce.I was signed as Ashbrooke Allstars with Smoove, Peter Brown and Opus3 to East west records .Then we signed with Smoove and Pete to Big life records as ULTRAGROOVE we managed to get a remix for Digital Underground a tune called no nose job (ultrafunk edit) in which a young upcoming rapper was featured 2pac, and George Clintons vocals were also featured west coast gets an Ashbrooke make over!! WTF???? We then had a radio show for a couple of years on Wear fm's Boogie bass and soulfish called the Ultravibe I did this with Smoove playin hip hop, bossa nova, jazz, funk, and soul. From this we got djing gigs. We ran out of money,ran into litigation problems with Big life who wouldnt put our stuff out but wouldnt let us sign for any other label either,that lasted about 3 years it fkt us up so we split. I then djd for money playin residencies because i could mix vynal and play what was requested. Then I started doing odd tracks when i could fit them in I find it hard when u have a job and a girlfriend to make music,as Im not gifted it takes me a while to finish songs. I still do eclectic gigs now and then which I enjoy and I have a lot of unfinished material but Ive wasted a lot of time and wasted what little talent I have.I hope to post mo songs in the future.
