My name is Omar. I'm 19 years old. I grew up in Vernon, Texas and lived there until after my freshman year in high school. After that, I was forced to Electra and accepted it as a way of life. Regardless of everything I went through there, I will never forget how special of a place it is and how the people there affected my life. Anywayz, I graduated from there and won a four year scholarship as well. I'm currently going to Vernon College and have moved back to Vernon. It feels good to be home again. I don't know why I'm still in Vernon when I could be at Tech or UT or something. Part of the reason is cuz I'm too much of a coward to just pick up and start a new life somewhere. Sometimes I want to though. You know, just run away from this bitch and never come back if I could. Yet I'm still here. I don't mind it tho, at least I'm getting an associates while I'm here, and I plan to transfer to UT at SA in the fall of 07. Well, my life has moved so fast since after I graduated high school. You learn a lot in college. Not academically. Life long lessons. Ones in friendship, love, hate, dishonesty, and betrayal. Man last summer sucked balls. Seriously tho, I would rather be in Government class than spend a summer like that again. At least I did spend some time with the greatest friends in the world over the summer tho. Jason, Emmanuel, Mandy, and Joy, and of course my little sister Laura- you guyz were the best part of the summer. I love you guys. I'm here for you too sluggers. Recently however, my older sister, Sonia passed away. Most of you probably didn't even know her. I wish I could have known her more. We grew up in different homes, but anywayz what I'm trying to get at is I ask of you guys to keep her children in our prayers. R.I.P. Sonia Marie Bazan. I didn't mean to like tell my entire life story. I just had some thoughts to get out of my head. Me, as a person, I'm easy to get along with. Friends say I'm smart, funny, and crazy. I guess they're right. I'll do anything for a good laugh.
