I like everything...no wait that's a lie, I like a lot of different types of music and love a few kinds. A lot of the music I listen to is not anything you'd ever hear on the radio cuz most of these bands are signed by small labels and mostly tour to get their name out there! So if you ever see any of the bands on a performance list make sure to check them out!Ozomatli!!!! One of the greatest live bands!! B-Side Players, Bombachante (great salsa band), Ugly Duckling, Fosforo, Very Be Careful, Casa de Calacas, Maldita Vecindad, Cafe Tacuba, El Gran Silencio, Buena Vista Social Club, and Kinky.Norah Jones, Mana, Shakira, Miles Davis, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Sade, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Santana, Prince, Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Ray Charles, Sublime, and the list goes on and on!!I also love to shake my ass to hip hop and rap!And to pay tribute to my Latino heritage I love to listen to Mariachi!!! I LOVE Vicente Fernandez! I'm going to his concert in November!! I also like to listen to cumbias and salsas!!

Current shows: CSI!!! It's the best show ever! Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewivers, Brothers and Sisters, Family Guy, Law and Order: SVU, and Gilmore Girls (no it's not only for 12 year old girls!!),
Oh, and I love these re-runs: Sex and the City, Friends, Will & Grace, The Cosby Show (OMG I met Bill Cosby at the 2006 Jazz Festival and was star struck but I didn't act like an idiot or anything), I Love Lucy, and Seinfeld.

Anything and everything by Toni Morrison: Song of Solomon, Sula, The Bluest Eye, Beloved, Jazz, and Tar Baby. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, anything by Sandra Cisneros (especially House on Mango Street), East of Eden, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Bell Jar, Catch 22, and anything by Maya Angelou!!! Love her!! I want to start reading Night cuz I saw the special on Oprah and became fascinated! Oh, and I have this strange fascination with "self-help" books...I find myself trying to find the answer to all of my problems in books...that's so lame!! But you gotta love me for trying!
