I'm a 30 something Haitian-American living in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area. I work full time in the IT field as a govt contractor and I'm a part-time Photographer.
I am a first generation American. My parents and family are from Haiti (as u can tell from my earlier statement). My parents raised my siblings and myself to be very open to different people, music, cultures, food, and anything in general that was outside of our personal experiences. The fact that my household was of another culture than that of which I was living in (America), reinforced this. Due to this, I appreciate people who are open-minded to everything this world has to offer.
I am an honest, mellow, and funny person (or so I've been told). I'm a conversationalist and appreciate people of like manner. I have aspirations of traveling around the world and would love to find a partner in crime for that venture. I like any general activity that involves interaction with interesting people and I love to laugh. I am also a very analytical and reflective person.
I've started to loc my hair as of December '05. I hope to meet fellow lockers to learn from their journey and experiences. I have met many of you and you all continue to be an inspiration to me in my own journey.
I'm also an avid music lover, so I hope to meet new artists I would have otherwise not been aware of and enjoy music that speaks to my soul!
