Too hard to pick out a best one because there are so many. Raising Arizona, Animal House and Zoolander come to mind for comedies. Saw a bunch of great documentaries at the SXSW film festival...Before the Music Dies, Oil Crash, AKA Tommy Chong and many more. Too many fantastic movies!
CSI and other "who dun its", Comedies like Seinfeld (my fav), animal, history and discovery shows, but movies are definately my favoites!
