Grey started dj’ing over 7 years ago Providing soundtracks for house parties in Durban, With his parents not showing the keenest of interests in Grey’s decided future, he did what he had to do and sold his own car to finance his first array of equipment and vinyl’s like …… from this idol the legendary Mimi Kesaris Record Shop (BPM RECORDS)
Swiftly frustrated by Durbans limitations in the dance scene and it being far too small to accommodate Grey’s larger than life presence, Grey moved to secure his future in JHB dance venues. During his ever-expanding career Grey has shared the stage with a wide array of key South African Dj’s such as, Mimi Kesaris, Ryan Dent, Phat Jack, Lady Lea Brett Jackson, Funky G, Saint Nick, Marc Porter and many more!
Grey has also participated in major events such as Kiss (All Events), Café de Afrique, Sweet sessions ,All Good parties,Sensations,Carfax and Is recently featuring in the Deeper Sounds of Parties for USM Records and also playing in regular slots at ESP.
Grey Currently holds a residencey for Groove Bar and has been part of the club now for nearly 2 years, During his sets you will hear a blend of Funky,Electro House mixed fairly rapidly as so you the audience stay on your toes.
