Everything started on summer 2003 when two members of Technognosia group (knot, Alex) launched a free techno party with the main support of the youth centre of Alexandroupolis. Devoted to music, influenced by the big European parties/festivals and willing in the meantime to transmit new musical backgrounds, they mounted the event in a bar of an old stone windmill. The party took place on the 8th of August with the participation of Axel Karakasis (headliner), Bengoa (fusion techno, umatic) and two other local djs Redz and Vagelis Georgantzi. The windmill was filled with young people whereas tribal and the hard techno music left everyone completely satisfied.%D?verything revealed that there was a zest for a new start and this was the opportunity to transmit the techno and generally fresh dance music in the town. Therefore in October of 2003, the Technognosia group was formed,a group which works with devoutness and love for electronic music apart from the commercial establishments of the dance stages in Greece. %D%A
%D%AIn technognosia events international artists have participated such as Redhead, Mark Broom ,Dj Lucca, Balthazar, Terry Mitchell as well as Greek artists like Axel Karakasis,Bengoa and Dj Tony.They all had a great success and the support of the people. The principal of the group is to provide events to young people not only in affordable prices as well as being friendly with full of energy and a feeling atmosphere.
