I was born Margaret LaVelle Fitzpatrick in Birmingham, Alabama on June 20, 1911. Attended Howard College (now Stamford University) active as a member of Alpha Pi and Dean of Women Students. Graduated with a Bachelors. Attended University of Alabama studying pre-law. Married to Robert Howard Cobb from December 16th 1936 to November 14th 1940 and Arnold Dean White from July 11th 1944 to 1945. Married to Cornwell Jackson from July 25, 1947-1969. Adopted two children. Married to John E. Velde, Jr. from September 28th 1974 until my death on July 6, 1980 in Los Angeles, California of leukemia.
