I'm a college student living in Chicago and I spend most of my time studying and playing my guitar. I used to study music at Columbia College until I transferred to my new school. Music is so important to me and I don't understand people who just don't like music in their life, or tend to put little weight on what they're listening to. When I had more free time in high school I would go to concerts every weekend and support the local music scene. I still do support the scene, but I just am unable to afford(time or money) to go to shows as much as I used to. I'm currently playing in a group called the "Spoony Bards". If you're nerd like me then you can appreciate the name. We play video game music at geek/dork/nerd conventions, nonstop into the wee hours of the morning...and sometimes even all night. This is fulfilling my need to play music with my friends, and helping me meet tons of new friends. Maybe someday I'll be in a real rock band, but I could be happy playing with these guys for the rest of my life, mostly because they've all become such good friends. I'm currently at school at Northeastern IL University going for my bachelor's degree in management. As much as it sucks to say it, I like retail and I'm confident that I could do well with any company as long as I take my knowledge and experiance, all backed by what I learn in school. I plan on graduating by the Spring 2008.
That's pretty much all there is to me, so yeah...call me a nerd if you will!
