About Me

..Isn't it funny how so many people find it so hard to know what to put in these things? It's really not that difficult, you just put to words the things that make you who you are. Sure it can be frustrating to figure out the best way to state something, but if you really don't care how other people judge you, then it shouldn't matter as much about how you phrase something, but more about what you are saying. Anyways, I'm an honest, sincere, shy, but slightly curious young man. My friends would most likely describe me as pretty funny and rather unique - my sense of humor is highly sarcastic and I love observational humor. I'm an accidental introvert. This is due to the fact that I don't try hard enough to leave my precious Xbox 360 alone and actually go out and "meet people," but this is a work in progress. Most people I meet in public are too strange anyways. I guess strange can be both good and bad though. I become easily dedicated to things I'm passionate about but tend to show my stubborn side more often than not when I think I'm right about something - this is not to say I love to argue, quite the opposite, and I'll do whatever I can to appease most situations that I feel are needing to be resolved. I may not be the best problem solver, but I like to think I'm pretty creative when it comes to solutions to all sorts of things. I have a huge romantic side that never gets to come out due to the fact that I've yet to find anybody who doesn't mind being romantic with me. Music and film are pretty significant to me. I think that humans are so lucky to be able to create such fantastic works of art for others to share and interpret. As a Humanities major, I tend to focus on the elements of mankind's creations and recordings, its past and present and potential futures. I'm also your average young guy though. I love food of the "junk" or "fast" variety. Video Games consume my free time. Sports are okay but I prefer to watch, as I've never been very athletic. I'll close with a quote: "I'm sick of always following my dreams. I'm just gonna ask where they're going and hook up with them later." - M. H.

My Interests

Might as well just ask me personally. Seriously... like I could go on and on.

I'd like to meet:

Natalie Portman although I'd have no idea what to say or do or how to act around her. Keira Knightly, Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie because they have talent not just good looks. Adriana Lima, Allessandria Ambrosio, Petra Nemcova, and Heidi Klum (my favorite Victoria's Secret Supermodels... whom I'd like to meet for numerous reasons). George Lucas and Steven Speilberg because they're almost like idols to me and are great creative and artistic visionaries. My great ancestors and fellow Esselsteins! ***Pretty much ANY girl like Sam from Garden State (go see it then you'll know what I'm talking about)*** (But anyways...) I'd like to meet somebody who's my other half. Somebody who's into the same things I am and who is everything I could ever ask for. This girl would have to be nice and funny. Witty and smart. Looks aren't everything but they honestly don't hurt. I'm not too picky but if she's got a British accent I'm hers! She would ideally be comfortable around me and my friends and she'd be understanding and very willing to communicate. Brunettes who are about my height or taller (5'9'') would be cool. That's not what I'd consider pickiness just honesty of preference. Of course when you're as desperate and shallow as I am.... erh... heh....nevermind. Ask me who I'd like to STAY AWAY FROM and I'd tell you the following: liars, people who are unfaithful, people who brag about their dieting habits or excercise routines as if they were trying to convert you to their lifestyle, people who smoke, people who are obnoxiously clingy, people with no common sense or social skills, and people who "try too hard." I don't think I need to explain further.

Ender's Game and the Ender's Shadow series by Orson Scott Card (best things I've ever read BY FAR!)Also, his Worthing Saga book is excellent as well.Just finished reading "The Grays" by Whitley Streiber... freaky stuff, but very good.Macbeth and Hamlet by Shakespeare (classics), I like a few other books but I hate to read when I could be watching movies instead. That's just how I am.

Heroes:

(as in the show?) Hiro, Peter Petrelli, and Claire are the best.(as in SUPER...) Spiderman and Batman, Gambit, Wolverine is cool too. Iceman's not bad either. And when it comes to the ladies... White Queen and Psylocke - nuff said.(as in un-Super...) Can't quite say. Nobody's really inspired me or influenced me that much for me to label them as my hero. That might or might not change. I do greatly appreciate and respect my relatives, best friends Todd and Carli, and my sister Rachel. Yet I wouldn't call them my heroes.
