About Me
"Vegas is mine, ima shine n*gga gimme some time!" - Words by none other than the one and only, Kaine "Shoot Da 5th" Sosa. Which he is proving to the world as we speak!------------------------------------------------------
----------------- Born "Jaimeson Ogletree" June 6, 1987, in a small town in Ohio, Jaimeson was destined and blessed from the beginning. Exposed to early Hip-Hop since a baby, Jaimeson grew up on the music he Loves and has been around it and watched it grow up along with himself. His mother, "Veronica Ogletree", a singer in a band when he was young also influenced young Jaimeson. Living with just his mother, Jaimeson left his small town in Ohio for Las Vegas in 1996. Potentially the best thing to ever happen to him, and thats where the story begins.-----------------------------------------------------
------------------------- All through Elementary, and J.R. High Jaimeson knew that there was something he was supposed to be great in. He tried sports, a few clubs at school, but nothing felt right. Then came High School, and Jaimeson began rapping. Awful at first, he blossomed! Veteran MC's at his school took notice to the young MC and linked up with him before long. Battling every challenger and brutally punishing each MC, Jaimeson soon was known at his school as The Best. He continued in slaying opponents up until his J.R. year until he was ultimately kicked out for rapping!! Then soon after co-founding his group "The Dronez" with his long time friend Anthony Brooks aka Noyze.------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------- Now out of school and working, Jaimeson while at work one day, started rapping while working. Someone overheard, Jaimeson's former and first partner in music, "Lon" aka "Lonnee Mo". Lon, asking Jaimeson if he'd be interested in an opportunity recording in just a room in a small house. Jaimeson accepted the offer, and just like in school, with recording, he was awful at first. Soon Jaimeson, now "Kaine", wrote his first successful record, "Putcha Guns Up". Then all at once just like magic, he began dishing out a slew of hits, such as "Shoot", "The Best Is Me", "Stay Down" feat. 2Pac, "Po' Nigga Blues" feat. 2pac, "Party and Bullshit" feat. The Notorious B.I.G., "Never Scared", "Hip-Hop(It Feels So Good)", and his Critically Acclaimed, "100 Barz N Runnin'".---------------------------------------------------
----------------- Going in different directions, Jaimeson split from his original partner Lon, and began working with his Grandfather(Orlando Moorer) as his so called manager. From there, he only got better. Now releasing songs such as the much buzzed about "Rollin' or What", "Tonight Baby", "LV Stand Up", "Fast Lane", "Grapevine", and "We Can Make It", Jaimeson aka Kaine grew to unimaginable abilities as not just an MC/Rapper but as an artist as well, but the glory with his Grandfather was shortly lived. Realizing that he couldnt further Jaimeson's career, his Grandfather allowed a long time friend Joe Fox aka Wink Bain to hear Jaimeson's music and Fox quickly requested to meet with the young MC. They automatically saw eye to eye.--------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
--------- Fox, co-founder of Las Vegas's own, "Blade Boys Ent." offered Jaimeson a managment contract and Jaimeson quickly accepted and signed. Now stronger and better than ever, Jaimeson has found shelter under the various camps umbrella which consists of "Blade Boys Ent.", and "On-Blast Ent.". Already hard at work on his up-coming Vegas debut "Raising Kaine", Jaimeson has realeased his most articulate work such as "Gimme The Crown" where he flows naturally and smoothly over muffled horns and titan base about taking the rap game by force. "Get Live" in which he uses witty wordplay much like his idol "The Notorious B.I.G.". The heartfelt true story "Life Goes On" which is a story about a young Jaimeson and his best friend whom he's loved since they were young and the evolution of their relationship in which he feels ultimately results in coming to an end....And the Classic "Rhyme On Time" in which he raps of a young boy trying to hustle, the evolution of himself and the evolution of his beloved Hip-Hop. Almost cliche, cursed with UNFOCUSED partners Jaimeson split with Manager Fox to persue his career himself, personaly. Now finishing up his long anticipated Album, "Raising Kaine", the best work is yet 2 come.-------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------
------------- Yet it hasnt been all peaches for the young MC. In 2007 he went to jail. Went through AA, lost friends and family, and the result only has made him work twice as hard. Now more focused than ever Kaine is ready to raise "KAINE". With all new songs in the vault, and some of them schedualed to make debuts on "Raising Kaine" Vol. 1. Kaine has set his sights on rap completely and is ready for the world. So, "Bring it on if u think u can hang, and if not then let me do my thang"............This is just the beggining.
