San Juan, Puerto Rico based Makeup Artist and Stylist, Aisha Naomi has been working in the industry for over 8 years. Establishing her roots with Chanel Cosmetics in Puerto Rico; then moving on to become a freelance artist. Her creative liberty with the renown cosmetics line developed her love of all things fashion and glamorous.She has been influenced by her family, which has deep roots in the fashion industry; but mostly inspired by her mother that showed her the principals of makeup. Also enthused by old Hollywood glamour, she encourages women to be alluring, sexy and daring with classical and glam looks.Aisha Naomi has had the opportunity to study with renowned international Makeup Artist David Lang. Excelling and becoming his protégé, heading on to work as a makeup artist for runways and print. She has also been featured as guest makeup artist for cosmetic companies L'oreal, Maybelline and Clarins.She has been known to be inspired by her day to day, but also some of her inspirations come from her favorite fashion houses: Dior, Chanel and Diane Von Furstenberg. As also different stylist and makeup artist like: Frank Toskan, Frank Angelo, Pati Dubroff, Kevyn Aucoin, Phiip Bloch, Tim Gunn, Toni Ferrara, and Mark Littlejohn.Presently she is a grad student at the University of the Sacred Heart, majoring in Media Studies, where she is completing her thesis on fashion and is also currently Head Makeup Artist, Stylist, Communications Director and Founding Member for [Nao.Nao] Group.
