I'm all over the five boro's especially Q-BORO. I rest on sutphin blvd. and in 40 projects. Born and raised. Don't sleep on the team cuz we'll end up waking yo asses up anyway. The B.Q.E team is that caffine. The name is J.REIGN/Cooche' Blee. don't get it twisted. I got that crack. It's all bout the music thing. If u ain't part of the team...lay low. It all started back in october 2002. I was sixteen when i wrote my first verse. Me and my nigga whiny had sum instrumental and was writin to a neptune beat. I wrote it, then spit it, he said it was hot, let my brother kwest hear it, he said it was hot and if i keep it up i'll be in the studio. First time in the studio i was nervous, second time, nervous. I wrote acapella for a long time cuz i aint have no beats. In high school i had my nigga marvin tell me how my sounds were. He kept it real wit me. Most of his reactions to my lyrics were positive(sum were negative, also). The first recording he heard me do, he liked. The second he said i got betta. it was niggaz like that that helped me out. A few people wasn't feelin my sounds so i had to improve in those areas. I needed to think outside of the box. It's like my brother told me, "U think too complicated wit ur music". I say its a new sound and it's sumthing the people wont be expecting. 2002 i met my nigga k-jabz, also an artist. in spark class. We neva wrote together back then but we would spit wut we had to deliver and draw a small crowd in the classroom. The main lissener wuz my nigga garvin(twin brotha of marvin). He didnt give me too may negative reactions. Afta i spit he would gimme a dap. if it was whack, he'd tell me in a sec. 2003 my only producer gets locked up. Now i have nothin but to keep goin acapella. I first started writing verses instead of songs. It wasnt often. It was prolly once or twice a week. It got to the point when i aint write anything for close to two months. I aint have much motivation or luv to do it. February 24, 2004 my sister died, two days b4 my birthday. I had a shorty who wasnt holdin me down worth a shit. She gave her condolances but when i actually needed her to be there, it wasnt happenin. Dinora. It was a ruff time for me. Late '04 I took all those single verses i had and matched the topics up and started puttin them 2gether into songs. In the summer of '04 i found sum of my producers' beats and started workin wit wut he had left. 2005 i started downloadin instrumentals and recordin in my room wit a $25 radioshack headset. Had a few of my producers' beat put on cd and recorded. Each time i made a track, ill burn it then go to marvin and garvin and give them a copy. At the end of the year i had 23 songs on a cd. Out of those 23, i'd say about three songs marvin, garvin, myself and everybody else who heard it aint like. I let people who aint care for hip hop lissen and there were tracks they found they can vibe and relate to. 2006 my producer/brother came home. We linked up wit his peoples, i let them hear my music, they said it was good money. Then, i had a group to work wit. 2006, B.Q.E. Ent. was born. 2006, i had jus started to take my music serious. I came a long way. Everyone tells me i really stepped it up and i agree wit them to the fullest. Now its no more fun and games...its time to get this bread.
