About Me

ZED is a much needed musical concept. Zed is a unique new sound with songs that are sung/rapped completely in an ancient African/Egiptian language. Zed was formed in Milledgeville, Georgia by Karaam along with his family members. Zed has performed at various cultural venues for the Yamassee Native Americans, for the United Nuwaubian Nation and even at weddings. In 2005, ZED founder Karaam and his family relocated back to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Here, ZED linked up with the amazing DJ Nakail and other family members and along with guest appearances on upcoming projects from artists Aniba Hotep and ILLIYUWN, ZED looks to present a fresh, new, cultural twist to the industry. Now back in Georgia, ZED is gearing up to expose the world to some pure tones very soon!!Order Your Cds here http://www.lulu.com/content/compact-disc/ila-nuwaubia/618960 3 http://www.lulu.com/content/compact-disc/ila-nuwuabia---disc -2/6194786

Talk To Me About Culture...

How important is culture to you?  Language is a key element to establishing and maintaining a culture.  Do Africans in America have a true culture?  What are your thoughts?
