My name is Amanda and I just turned 23. This has been one of the hardest years of my life. My father committed suicide on April 20, 2009. He was not only my father but my best friend. I miss him so much and I would give anything to have him back. If you knew that it was going to be the last day that you were going to see someone you would change so many things. I hope that my dad knows how much I loved him. My family and I are lost without him. Thank you to all my friends for their support. I especially want to thank Adam (my boyfriend) and Alison (my best friend) for not leaving my side. I don't know what I would do without my friends or family. I want to let my brother and my mom know that I am going to be strong for them because I know that's what my Dad would have wanted me to do. I love you both so much. R.I.P.
