We Are Now Looking For New guitarist, Bassist and Drummer. We need new people for a once well-established project. We are looking for committed chaps who are willing to put time and effort in the band. We are all up for a jolly laugh, but we take our music seriously, and will preferably rehearse twice a week. We would prefer someone who likes how we sound and not just an obsessed with his instrument etc. Managment from Proud Gallery Camden would be interested once the band get together again.
Please call Arran on 07960780114 or Viktor on 07870738256The story began when Wickham's Fancy left his homeland Scotland with the intention to create.... a poetic, theatrical Rock band.He first bumped into The Hinter in Old Street London, where the crafty latter tried to sell him stale lard using his trickery. But young fledgeling Wickham's was no lampoon; he saw that there was an air about the Hinter . Some say that Wickham's was seeking a fellow, other say there was a shilling to be made.Antics were always at hand, drummers were never near but covent garden's french street performer was spoken of afar and near. After a mighty fight based on anglo-french ancient rivalry triggered by The Hinter, he finally accepted, all bruised , to join the band. The last piece to the jigsaw walked in with the smell of beer coming from his withered mouth, clearly a chap of precise words : I am The Lush, I play guitar. The carriage was finally ready to commenceWith effrontery we marched down the street- temerity asks for no more. It takes a villain to know a villain- beyond the dark dank London smog lies our factory floor. In for a penny, in for a pound, our moral waters feed the crows. Perspiration runs down our faces when the old bill is sniffing to and fro. The black chimney pots see all, like the swift and crafty fingers below a beard. We can't get away like a fly on a window pane though we carry on through the streets with nothing more than a suppressed sigh.
