Charles Anthony Blankenship (born March 11th, 1985 in San Bernardino, California), better known as Troof Be Told, is a rising solo hip hop artist that haslaunched his career without the benefit of a major label. The Troof is best known throughout Southern California, for packing out countless clubs, andtearing down the house with his unique charismatic music, and his demanding stage presence. His name, music, pretty boy looks, and from the streets vibe hasgained him numerous fans far beyond what this young artist has expected in such a short amount of time. He has been going hard with his music for a number ofyears, and has worked together with many other rap artists developing his skills, but this year 2007 he decided to fly solo, putting together the best musicrecords he has done thus far. He creates unique music by first mapping out a melodic beat over the piano, and then mixes this sound with hard beats, bells,and whistles that he knows his peers could rock their heads to. Next, he puts together thought about his own life experiences and begins to write rhymingpatters of bars that come together and end with a catchy hook to grab the listeners attention.The Troof is comfortable in the booth recording music, because he makes music that the demanding public can relate too, will enjoy, and is unique tohis own life.
