About Cochise
Jeremy "Cochise" Ball is one of the most accomplished music producers from Western New York. After much success in his home town, including two Buffalo Music Awards, he moved to New York City to take on the Music Industry. Since then he has written music side by side with superstars like Diddy, produced on albums alongside hit makers like Kanye West and Scott Storch and even worked with Pop stars like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. He has worked for almost every Major Record Label, recording at studios like Sony Music and the Hit factory. With his production and guidance he has helped many independent acts and producers get signed into the business. Cochise has achieved platinum status and has had hit songs on the charts in five countries.
Currently an Executive Producer with Universal Records, Cochise has the 1 hit record in New Zealand. He has a busy schedule, juggling his own projects and reaching out to work with independent Artists as well. Whether it’s songwriting, production, studio time, or mixing, Cochise keeps a steady flow of Artists coming back for the sound they need.
Cochise on Production "My job is to take a talented Artist or Band and bring out the star potential that is waiting to be revealed. Anyone can buy a beat and make a song but every successful artist has a great producer behind them. I can help with everything from song concept, lyrics, and melodies to beats and musical arrangements, hooks, and even special recording and mixdown techniques. I have done this for some of the biggest Record Labels and I can bring that experience to your project. The end result will be music that sounds more professional, and songs that have both a special connection to who you are as an artist and a commercial appeal that will make them irresistible. Contact me at [email protected] for info" -Cochise.
Mixing & Mastering If you want to sound like the pro’s your song needs to be mixed and mastered by a pro. Nowadays everyone has a home studio but the mixes sound like home mixes. Without a good mix it’s impossible for your song to reach the next level. Even if you have a good song already it will sound amazing with a good mix. I have been mixing for Major Labels for 16 years and I have worked for some of the biggest names in the business. I will give your song that platinum sound you are looking for at a price you can afford. You get the main version, clean radio edit, instrumental and T.V. (performance) track in high quality WAV file format and even an MP3 you can use online. Contact me at [email protected] to order.
Studio Time If you live in or visit the Western New York area, I have a deal for you. I am currently engineering at some of the best recording studios in the area and I would love to engineer your project. I also travel so I can come to your home town and work in the studio of your choice. Contact me at [email protected] for more info.
Artist- Bradd Marquis "The thing I love most about working with, and watching Cochise work, is that he cares about creating the best product for you. A lot of producers just want to make their money, get you in and out. To him it doesn't matter if you're the best singer/ rapper whatever, he'll make you feel like it and use all of his expertise to make your material sound like it. With Cochise I got first place on BET and my song played on HOT97. I even got a deal with a major management company" - Bradd Marquis
Bradd Marquis is an R&B singer with an amazing voice and a stellar personality. Upon signing a production deal with Cochise, Bradd moved to New York City to pursue his dream. Together, they developed a new sound and created a huge buzz in the music industry. Bradd is building an impressive fan base from his televised performances on BET’s 106 & Park, where he won the 2007 Soul Singer of the year award. He has performed live in several New York City industry showcases such as R&B Live @ Spotlight where his performance was given a standing ovation from the legendary R.Kelly. Bradd Marquis’ first, buzz single “Radio” is already receiving air play on New York’s 1 radio station, Hot 97.
NYC Music Awards - 2 Nominations
Artist- Stori James Pop singer Stori James has made her place in the music industry. A Buffalo native, Stori moved to New York to re-unite with Cochise, developing a new sound and signing deals with Polygram, Sony, and RCA Records.
“Stori James is an artist reaching for spiritual expression through music. It’s in the earnestness of her voice as a writer, but is especially evident in her physical singing voice. I really appreciate what she’s doing.” - India.Arie
Stori James is a sight to behold on stage. Her music, evocative in its subject matter and effortless in its delivery, is just about flawless. This singer/songwriter uses her personal experiences as the conduit through which her artistic expression is born. In a world of cookie-cutter songstresses, whose images are created by the machine and emblazoned in our mental psyches through constant airplay, Ms. James breaks the mold." -www.plateaumag.com.
Artist- Isaiah "If you want to make it you have to be radio ready, Cochise was able to take me there. He knows what's going on in today’s music industry. When he does his thing I’m always blown away. With his production I just signed a management deal and my career is off and running." -Isaiah
