Well, all right then.
We went through guitarists like people go through socks. Our ninth guitarist was, finally, the one. But before he came along, we had changed drummers twice. The first - and technically the founder of the band - now plays with London metal giants SWETBOX. The second was our old sparring partner from PEOPLECOVEREDINFISH. We had also found a sax player. Or rather, he had found us. We'd met on a new years eve with a drunken walk up a nameless street, then a month later he appeared at our rehearsal room, and the magic began.
We played, wrote and jammed our way through a year or so before getting our first gigs, our eclectic composition process giving us a dynamic range beyond our expectations. Most of the stuff we play is only partly written, relying on a seat-of-the-pants, playing-to-the-moment technique to acheive a balance between precision and variability.
The music swoops between giddy peaks of heart-wrenching feeling and outright wall-of-sound ear assualt. Sometimes we get so heavy it becomes trance inducing, other times, light enough to slide the soul out from within your body.
