Reading, movies, music. I'm a stationary kind of person.
Surprise me. No crazies, please.
Hard to specify. Random selections from my iPod bring up Billie Holiday, the Stones, Spoon, Queens of the Stone Age, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Bright Eyes. Basically, I like what I like. So suck it, hipsters.
Let's see. In my Netflix queue I currently have: The Aristocrats, A History of Violence, Junebug, Harold and Maude, Wallace & Grommitt....I try to avoid committing to a favorite movie. Depends on my mood. However, and I hate to be such a girl, I could probably watch the A&E version of Pride & Prejudice any day of the week.
I don't have cable. The price of living in a dorm, folks, is that I have no idea what people are talking about around the watercooler at work. It's like I've lost my center.
Anything written by Ian McEwan, Kazuo Ishiguro, Zora Neale Hurston, or Zadie Smith, to start. Some recent favorites also include I Capture the Castle, Age of Innocence, and John LeCarre's Smiley trilogy.
Sargent Shriver, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jon Stewart, Paul Farmer (for the public health nerds out there). There are others, I suppose, but that's who came to me during the 15 minutes I gave myself to fill out this form.
