My name's Jill. I go through life applying my nerdiness to awesome projects and my awesomeness to nerdy projects, i.e. playing sweet guitar in a kick ass band.... that plays ska. It's how I do.
80% of my day job can best be covered by three little letters I've grown to both love & hate: NDA. The terribly bittersweet nondisclosure agreement: barring me from sharing about the neater projects I work on yet saving me from the embarrassment of the lamer ones. (thank god for pen names)
Working under the vague realm of Project Development fortunately offers a wandering mind like mine a lot of variety: writing, managing, producing, design, tech - it all depends on the project.
The rest of my time is spent designing & making shirts for a clothing line & bands, being 1/2 (the awesomer one) of a venue partnership (booking, sound & lights, bad cop, small talk), playing guitar for & managing my band , finishing up my masters degree (1 semester left), and playing video games any spare moment I get (post office lines, slower shows, and traffic not excluded).
I suppose you could say I'm a jill of all trades, but if you did I'd probably sigh on the inside and start liking you a little less.
