I am an optimistic person with a most cynical world view, but I let my impulses and short-term visions guide my decisions. I take joy in my perpetual mission to learn more about the world I live in, usually by reading but also by talking to people and trying different things. I love to be ironic - which usually means caring about things I know are worthless. I trust in the selective memory of humans and its ability to make life seem less boring and more appealing.
