I am Sage Sebastian Knaus, or my modeling name, Sebastian Ashbury.
Sage may not be my name given at time of birth, but if it's one truth I've learned, it's that you don't have to take everything others give you and think you must follow it, just as with all life's surroundings are but "tools" in this existence that await discovery of function. Names can be gained from others or from your own journeys. It's all about what it means to you and others. This is the first step in answering the age-old question "Who are you?"...
...I am only and truly who I am; I am not someone who advocates masks or lies as most of society nurses on like mother's milk.
A few things to notice about me : The physical focused mannerisms of a German militant, the grace of a Chinese martial artist, the patience of a monk, the passionate heart of an adventurer, the sarcastic realism of House M.D., the low tolerance for stupidity like Judge Judy, the stare of a snake, the fiery temper of an Irishman, the determination and constitution of a Russian bear, the honor sense of a Samurai, the wisdom of a philosopher, the patience/tolerance of a monk, the descriptive embodiment of life of a poet, the adaptation of water, the reciprocation of a double-edged sword; those few who push enough out of my favor should be prepared never to look back, while those who prove their worth I will forever revere. Yes, this combination is a paradox... which we all are.
Spirituality : Through trial, error, research, and continuous exploration along the spiritual path, I have found that every belief system has something to offer, and thus I respect them (some more or less than others), but I have always felt a strong pull in the direction of Paganism and Eastern belief systems (Buddhism, Taoism, Zen), with LaVeyan humanist rules/principles; a few of LaVey's rules that I follow :
1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
3. When in another’s lair, show them respect or else do not go there.
4. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
5. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
6. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
7. Do not harm little children.
8. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
9. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask them to stop. If they do not stop, follow any means necessary to stop them.
Preferences : There are always rare exceptions, but I prefer NO Emo kids (eat zee curb!), NO soccer-moms or their gas-guzzling SUV's they can't drive if their lives depended on it, NO religious pressure, NO sheeple/vanilla/closed-minded people, NO gossip, NO lies, NO "take a hint" or "read my mind for me" communication, NO fake people, use your turn signal, and turn your damn cellphone OFF! ... And if you don't like the way I drive, either don't ask me for a ride, or keep your backseat driver's license to yourself.
Why so serious?
I'm not always solemn... sometimes I shock people with my random giddy, goofy, and more out-going moments, especially if I feel comfortable with who you are or if you simply inspire it in my somehow, so appreciate it while it's there... and don't be scared ;>_> Having to chase after you isn't how I'd like to spend my time, but if I do, you'll be getting slapped with a fish :P

The means to understand/values : REAL people, mountains, Autumn's colors and Winter's enchantment, solitude, self-expression, self-reliance, sensuality, Martial Arts, Industrial, Goth, Bondage/S&M, clubbing, cooking, modeling, photography, fashion, World of WarCraft, respect, reciprocation, honesty, feel and express with all that you are. If you want to know something, then ask me; don't assume. A good sense of the finer things in life (this does not mean snobbery, it means worldly), and being humble and understanding your place in the world goes a long way. I take everything with a grain of salt and I rarely take sides other than my own, and otherwise constantly seeking whatever else I find in life that sends that inspiring shiver down my spine.
Dating... after long enough waiting as I climbed the tree of life, feasting on apples along the way which could only sustain, I found the one I had been climbing for for so long, to find she had been growing to fruition until I came along, my Michelle-Angel... and to her, these lyrics :

Education & Career: As a "Jack of all trades", I value knowledge over most things, as it is something that can never be taken from you. I have an Associates Degree in the Culinary Arts, and though I love cooking, I see it fitting more as a hobby than a reliable means of making a living. I am currently pursuing what I feel passion for and what I seem most adept at, broadening my avenues to my utmost, and always eager to learn and experience new things.
