Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, "H" has been breathing music since early childhood. Influenced by the likes of rappers Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, and Slick Rick, H wrote his first rhyme at the tender age of 8 years old. By his early teenage years, he had mastered the art of producing original beats, and had built a name for himself as one of the hottest youngsters on the DJ circuit, throughout the Bronx. By then, he was just simply known as H, and when one inquires as to why people just call him H, you learn that the nickname came about as people described his tracks as just plain Hot. In the following years H, continued to work with enormously talented artist such as Peter Gunz and Lord Tariq, Akinyele, Freddy Foxx, and G&B. He tightened his skills even further while providing tracks to underground acts like The Beam, Swing and Niccolo Bondz. In 2002, H was instrumental in landing a single deal for artist Official Pham which the single ended up on 2 episodes of The Bernie Mac Show. He played an instrumental role in landing Avery Storm his record deal with Nelly's Derty Entertainment and in 2005, H played a role in helping T.Waters land a deal, who recently signed to SoSo Def records. H's productions can best be described as modern day orchestration, as he boasts an impeccable ear for the music. A real studio junky, he knows his way around a production board. Proficient on Protools, H engineers his own sessions and sessions for other artists as well. When asked about his sound he states, "people talk about signature sounds and Im glad that I really dont have one because Im able to create any style of music, in whatever genre". H describes himself as a Hip-hop producer, that is versatile enough to produce R&B, or whatever genre of music. He credits Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Pete Rock, Dj Premiere, Jermaine Dupri, and R.Kelly as his main influences in music production. The world has been waiting for the next musical production innovator, and H is that prodigy. He's been waiting patiently, for the world to catch up to him.
