G.U.W.U. ( short for Get Ur Weight Up), was founded by members Jason Thomas(Tizza) and Michael Bryant(Yung Noug) in the fall of 2002. We represent what grindin’ is all about. You ain’t gotta flip keys to be a hustler. With their contrast in styles, the two are headed for stardom. Tizza provides a more knowledgeable approach to the game with his smooth lyrics and intensive dialect, you feel like you are apart of his songs. Yung Noug is the flashy, metaphorically enhanced rapper that provides a harsh reality of what being a Young Black American is. When these two forces collide, all hell breaks loose.
