Me and my hot-ass man, the love of my life, Justin, aka, Bona!!! He's so amazing and keeps me going when I feel like everything sucks!!! Sometimes I think he's crazy for loving me since I'm such a crazy bitch, but hey, to each his own!!! I always have a hard time describing myself, I hate writing "personal statements" and shit like that for applications and essays, but I guess I'll give it a try...I'm kind of a bitch, but only to those that I love the most...so if I'm being a bitch to you, I mean it from the bottom of my heart! I can't really fuck around with people I don't like, because I don't really want to waste my energy. I like to cook (vegetarian/vegan), read good books, spend time with my fabulous family, friends, and boyfriend. I won't advertise for anyone (unless it's a good band); shouldn't they pay me instead of me paying them??? I just don't understand that phenomenon! I love to dance, especially when I'm a little tipsy! Salsa is my favorite when I'm out, and I take tap classes suring the summer with an incredible instructor who's danced with Savion Glover on Broadway! If you don't know who Savion Glover is, you have to look him up, think Sammy Davis, Jr. meshed with Jimi Hendrix...he's fucking amazing! Seeing and hearing him tap is such a trip, I think maybe he's an alien... I like to get into heated debates with people about crazy shit, although sometimes I get so mad I have to leave the room...I don't have a lot of patience with ignorant people.

You Are Rum
You're the life of the party, and a total flirt
You are also pretty picky about what you drink
Only the finest labels and best mixed cocktails will do

My Interests

Francesca's new baby girl, Skylar Rose Driscoll!!! Born Dec 3, 2006 at 6:11am...She is sooooooooooo gorgeous, too amazing for words, and I am totally in love with her...this is her at 15 minutes old...xoxoxoxoxoxo ...and this is the most recent... ...probably the most gorgeous baby in the whole world!!! My girlies!!! Yes, I am grabbing Fran's boob...I don't really remember taking this pic, I was A LITTLE tipsy, but I love it!!! I love to travel...just went to Central America (Belize and Guatemala) and I can't wait to go back, hopefully going to Costa Rica soon. I'm also interested in good (veg) food, good music, good books and good people...if you have any suggestions, bring them on! I love to dance and have a good drink every once in a while (One Barrel is the BEST!). I love the woods, hiking, camping, stargazing, etc. I will live in the woods someday, in a nice little log cabin with a stream in the back yard, no city life for me...I've had it! I am not interested in: traffic, ungreatful and/or ingnorant people, advertising, skyscrapers, concrete jungles, SUVs (especially Hummers, don't people get it???), oh, and I hate when a song I have loved for so long shows up on some stupid ass commercial. It happens WAY too often these days...sigh... The Anthro Crew in New Orleans!

I'd like to meet:

What ever happened to Dave Hoover?

Music:

Check out this video...it is so amazing!!! Thank you Desiree!!! On Your Way

Add to My Profile | More VideosI'm a big fan of classic rock: DARK SIDE IS THE BEST ALBUM EVER!!! Zepplin, Floyd, the Dead, CCR, Simon and Garfunkel (did I even sepll that right???), Bob Seager, Dylan, Mamas and the Papas, Tom Petty, and on and on...as for newer stuff I need to feel like there's some sort of passion and substance in the music and lyrics...I can't stand most of the shit on the radio these days, what the hell ever happened to good hip hop? How many times can one sing about money, bitches and guns? Give me some old school Tu Pac any day...I know he sang about that shit too, but at least he was original when he did it! I like a lot of that stuff that came out in the early-mid 90s: Nas, Wu Tang, Method Man, Gangstar, Lil Kim, The Firm...I think that's about it for hip hop...then there's System of a Down, Deftones, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, INCUBUS, Green Day, Phish, String Cheese, Fiona Apple, Portishead, Tool, Rage, The Killers, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, that's all I can think of for now...

Movies:

This Is My Home

Hurricane Katrina was a natural disaster, but the continued displacement of New Orleans public housing residents is a man-made travesty. This documentary is a tribute to the perserverance of the displaced residents of New Orleans, and it is a call to action for the public, politicians, and all justice-minded people to support their right to return home. I Heart Huckabees...one of the greatest movies of all time, Dazed and Confused, Chasing Amy, Dogma...pretty much any Kevin Smith/View Askew movie, Crash, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Empire Records, Adaptation, Being John Malchovich (sp?), Return to Oz, Labrynth, The Dark Crystal...fucked up 80s kids movies that you never knew were fucked up until you watched them stoned in your teens or 20s, Pulp Fiction, Rainman, Office Space, Swing Kids, Swing Time, (ah, Fred and Ginger; nothing better!) Newsies, Chorus Line, Singing in the Rain...Hey, I like musicals, OK?

Television:

I don't really watch much TV, but when I do it's usually something on the Discovery Channel, The National Geographic Channel, The History Channel, PBS, or the Food Network (they really need to get a veggie show or I'm boycotting! If you agree please email them; I have twice already but they haven't gotten back to me yet...bastards!) and the occasional Family Guy, Simpsons, Daily Show, or South Park if I can catch them. If it's a really lazy day I'll do the Law and Order marathon on TNT...love it!

Books:

Fiction: LOVE LOVE LOVE the Harry Potter series (7/21/07 book 7 is coming out!!!), Ishmael, My Ishmael, The Story of B (MUST READ) anything by Daniel Quinn actually, The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, White Oleander, The Celestine Prophecy, 1984, Animal Farm, The Five People you Meet in Heaven, anything by Kate Chopin, Jackie Collins is cool, Nora Roberts is pretty good for a steamy romance novel every once in a while too! Nonfiction: I'm reading Culture Jam again right now, for a few quotes, see my blog...Anything by Noam Chomsky or Howard Zinn, Diet for a Dead Planet, The Food Revolution, Lies my Teacher Told Me, 1491, Guns Germs and Steel, anything having to do with ancient civilizations (especially Mesoamerica) or human evolution

Heroes:

MY MOM...it may sound cheesy to you, but if you know her then you'll agree!!!
