I worked at General Motors as a pipefitter apprentice until I was layed off. I'm looking forward to going back to school for the spring semester to finish up my studies. I was involved with my union by sitting on the political action committee of my local and I've also been known to do union organizing (bi-lingual). I was an officer of the Rock County chapter of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement an organization of Latin@ union activists. I currently volunteer at the Workers' Right's Center of South Central Wisconsin as a worker advocate and currently serve as the President of the Board of Directors, I've been there since the opening almost 6 years ago and I love it. I don't really get down with student organizing anymore, simply because I'm old, but I'm always willing to help out in any way I can if people would just ask. In the past I also worked with the United Way of Dane County- Latino Advisory Delegation, assessing the needs of Latin@s in Dane County and putting together a report of our findings so that our community is better served. I spend my time being either really busy or really bored, lately it's been boring for obvious reasons but I'm trying to stay busy by working on my house. I've also applied to be a volunteer firefighter for the city of Monona. I love spending time with people, even though I'm not the best at getting back to you all, I'm not being a jerk. Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast, you let me know and I'll be there. Besides that I..d just say that I..m a complicated person. Why? Because I..m human! I..m not perfect for sure. That means I can be at complete opposite ends of any spectrum. Sometimes I want to be with everyone and sometimes I..d rather be left alone, that doesn..t mean I don..t like you. And it doesn..t mean i..m full of myself, because i assure you I..m not at all. But I and other people would say that I..m pretty honest about everything. I would say I'm a loyal person, even though not everyone knows it, I really never forget anyone, if you've crossed my path, believe me you are in my thoughts forever. And I have lots of love to give. I love all kinds of things, but mostly seeing people smile, and more so if I make them smile! Anymore? Ask don..t Assume!!
