Movies:

I'm addicted to independent films like the recent West 32nd, Amal and The End. But other faves are Scarface, The Godfather, Swimming with Sharks, Ocean's 11, Office Space, Napolean Dynamite, Kill Bill, horror flicks and anything with her.

Television:

Books:

Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven. And just about anything that will scare me out of my wits, from Ray Bradbury, Dean Koontz and the master: Stephen King.

Heroes:

"If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again." Miss you, Dad.

Spin Rage and Gym Rules

Every time I walk into the gym, a sense of calm comes over me. It's a good place to be and coming here provides a great opportunity to relieve the pressures of the day. 'Course, some people recently ...

The day Heaven cried

For the first time in months, the skies cried. That's the way I looked at it on the morning we discovered my mom had pancreatic cancer. Walking out of the hospital, my arm wrapped around her waist, s...

Chris Benoit

A thousand years ago, I met Chris Benoit. As a fan of the pro wrestling genre, I had wormed my way into helping a local independent wrestling promoter publicize autograph sessions of the big time WWF...

Solvang, Here I Come!

Now we'll see if it's all been worth it.   The getting up early on winter weekend mornings to ride in the bitter cold with strangers along off the beaten paths. The missing of or cutting out ear...

Into the photo studio

I wanted a momento of my upcoming century ride, something cool and edgy to send out to family and friends in a card to thank them for their support. So on Wednesday, I ventured into a ninth floor offi...
