About Me

Hi, my name is Rex. My full name is Rex Chapman. (My Father named me that.) I've also been told that Rex means king to some people, but I like to think of myself as more of a mayor than a king. A friend to all, hard working, honest, friendly. The kind of cat who will float in a sink full of water at bath time and purr all the way through the ordeal. I'm a happy cat. A very happy cat.Of course, like any good leader, I came from humble beginnings. I began my life as a wee foundling kitten left at the local Humane Society. Good people there. But, I wasn't just left there once, but twice. By two different familes. Saddled with the lackluster name of "Blackie" until I was adopted for the final time but my Mother & Father.Now, I live with them and more than a dozen animals. I consider myself the ambassador, but I'm also head of the clean water commission, the first to let someone know when the water dish is empty and the first one to use the litter box each time it's clean. I'm a people's cat, a cat's cat. Remember, vote Rex.
