I'm into the trumpet. Since Jan '06 I've been on a mission to reinvent my playing, my style and my whole idea of what the instrument can do. This started with playing through effects pedals (wah-phaser-overdrive-delay-tremolo-amp) and taking on new genres like Ambient and Space Funk. It's been exciting and definitely inspirational playing in Chicago and continually meeting new faces in the music scene here. Now is the time to funk it out like neva before.

I have been producing on the PC with Reason (3 now) and ACID pro for about 5 years, and I am learning Ableton Live to DJ and do livetronica (see Jazztronik). Trying to learn a little tabla, and I want to collaborate with Sitarists, Scratch DJs, electronic producers, etc. Spend a lot of time at jam sessions these days. Hopefully learning to create the type of improvisation that can move people past that uninvolved phase of idle listening. You wanna collab, just write baby.
