Slough

About Me

Slough Started in 1994 with Rick Diamond on guitar, vocals, and drum programs and Tyler "Gein" Jones on Guitar. They released several Demos on Tyler's underground lable Extreme Scene Records who specialized in releasing Extreme central Illinois metal bands. In 2003 the band was re-incarnated with drummer Tom Eversole along with Joe Crap on guitar, Tyler Dudley on bass, and Rick Diamond doing vocals. After writing and recording 3 songs with Tom the band split ways with him and then found drummer Aaron Tayler. Over the coarse of a year the band recording a couple more songs and played a few shows one of which being the 2004 Central Illinois Metalfest alongside Incantion, Lividity, and long time grindcore buddies Vomit Spawn among many other great bands. In early 2005 the band split with Aaron and returned to the Drum Machine once again to record "Everything to Gein". This song was written in remembrance of Tyler "Gein" Jones who died on March 5, 2005. Today Rick Diamond and Tyler Dudley are working on a new project under the name of "The Green Man Talking". Look to hear some stuff from this by summer 2006.
