I am an army firefighter stationed at Ft Campbell, KY. I live on post with my beautiful wife, our hilarious, 4 year old daughter Mackenzie, and our 1 year old daughter Raelin. I got my start in the fire service in my hometown, Farmington Hills, MI. After changing my major in school from Music Ed to Electrical Engineering then again to Culinary Arts I needed something very different - something that wouldn't be the same day after day. So I applied for, was hired, and trained in a Paid-on-call position with FHFD. In 2002 I joined the MI National Guard as a fire fighter and was trained at The Louis F. Garland Fire Academy. In Feb of 2004 I deployed to Iraq with my National Guard Unit the 1439th En Det (see video ). When we returned in 2005 I signed an active duty contract, which now puts me here at Ft. Campbell, home of The 101st Airborne Division (Airassult). More specifically in the 550th Engineer Detachment attached to HSC 326th En Bn of the 20th En Bde
