Season 26 returns to Tulsa, this time with the intent to stay indefinitely. Old cast members return, new ones are introduced, and many interesting happening are expected. Not all of them positive, but what's TV without conflict?
I'm Jack, a former seventh grade math teacher and grad student in New York City. Now, I'm a future grad student at the University of Tulsa (*crossing fingers*), studying Psychology--a topic I was always interested in but avoided in college due to a lack of, well, sense on my part.
I'm also a writer, recently graduated from Tulane University with a B.A. and English, Philosophy, and Political Science. I'm 25, and according to my friends I'm intelligent, self-disciplined, driven, and rational. But don't let that scare you away: other friends call me eccentric, twisted, airy, rambunctious, flawed, and sometimes timid. I'm also a terrible judge of my own character—as we all are—so, really, all of this is probably wrong.
I enjoy meeting new people. I like to socialize; I enjoy conversation. Most of all I enjoy a sense of humor, especially about serious matters. Politics, philosophy, theology, and mythology are among my favored ics-ologies to talk about. I'm open to many other subjects, but we risk boredom by engaging on certain subjects, such as the NFL's new season or new shoe fashions for the winter (although the latter can be interesting in the right context). I like to have fun, although, for me, having fun could consist of anything from going dancing at a club, to going to a park, to watching inanimate objects to see if they move by themselves. The key, for me, is company. I enjoy having good company around me; I like people who dream, who consistently reach out for what is better. The discontented are my favorite sorts of people.
Also, the language I've been using isn't intended to sound pretentious, although it may to those who don't know me. I really do talk like this sometimes. It's very sad. :(
