To start with, I have strong individuality, ambition, intelligence and resourcefulness. I'm also a big Dork. I would honestly be extremely happy being a student forever. I have two Bachelor's on my way to three more, and most likely a PhD after that.I have my passions in life: politics, religious debates, exercise (triathlons rule!!), nature, animals and tattoos. I have high integrity and humor about me at ALL times. I love animals, the curious nature of children, good food (did I mention I can cook), ballroom dancing, and being social with friends. I admittedly am a nomad that loves to explore the world. I have lived in Colorado (highly suggest everyone check it out) and travelled to England.
What Beatle are you?
Paul McCartney
You have a soft heart. You love animals, nature & quiet evenings with good friends.

If your I.Q. is greater than the number of shoes you own, you're money. If you can coin an original thought rather than regurgitate the same drivel, you're money. Music:

I have grown to enjoy quite a large variety of music. I like the old motown groups like Smoky Robinson, Earth Wind and Fire, The Four Seasons and The Temptations.I like the era altering rock groups of the 60's like the Rolling Stones, The Animals, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, The Birds, Fleetwood Mac and of course the BEATLES. I enjoy the Eagles (and the solo projects of the members), Queen, Van Halen, The Police (as well as Sting's solo work), Yes (some of the most amazing orchestrated guitar work ever), Rush (Neil Peart is the greatest drummer of all time), Heart (love those sisters)and many other bands of that era.I have a soft spot for the super rock ballads of the eighties big hair bands. Many eighties pop songs are classics that I cherish and crank every time I hear them.I tend to enjoy singer songwriter types as they reflect a cunning craft in inspirational music. Dave Matthews Band is at the top of this list. Dancing Nancies speaks volumes to me. I like some others such as Jason Mraz, Bob Schneider and Jack Johnson. I also found that I liked world music groups such as Enya and Enigma. I enjoy the vocal style and angelic flow of Enya, and love how Enigma introduces chanting and echoing dialogue into their music. I reserve the right to claim that all rap is absolute trash. I further reserve the right to claim that most country follows suit.I am reserving a special place for this group, The Elders, as they are both the greatest Celtic Rock group of all time and local to Kansas City. They travel to Colorado, Chicago, Atlanta and Ireland and have an amazing following. Men of Erin is so powerful it is beyond words!!!!! If you are to check out a single group from my long list, pick them!

Movies:

I absolutely love movies. I can seriously watch any movie anytime anywhere. My interests are immense. I generally filter out non spaghetti westerns but other than that anything is fair game. My collection is immense and continues to grow.My alltime favorite movie is Forrest Gump. Some of my favorites in the business are Tom Hanks, Kevin Costner, Christopher Walken, Vince Vaughn, Ashton Kucher, Edward Norton, Kevin Spacey, Meg Ryan, Kate Hudson, and Cameron Diaz.

Television:

T.V. rots the brain. I think this is mostly true. I actually think that should be modified to read: Reality television, commercials, soaps and sitcoms rot your brain. I love documentary oriented television. Anything on the Discovery Family of programs (Discovery, Discovery Health, The Learning Channel, Science Channel, Animal Planet, Wings etc.), the history channel or even KCPT. I also really love a few of the intelligence oriented shows like CSI, Numbers and Law and Order.

Books:

I'm currently working on Zen and the Art of Motorcylce Maintenance by Robert Pirsig. Some that I have completed recently are:Red Sky at Morning: America and the Crisis of the Global Environment by James Gustave Speth (Highly recommend people read this one).Been Brown So Long Looked Like Green To Me: The Politics of Nature by Jeffrey St. ClairCrashing the Party by Ralph Nader A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill BrysonThe Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil. My Amazon wishlist contains many more titles that I will get to in due time.

Heroes:

Some of my heroes are Gandhi, John Lennon, Jimmi Carter, Ralph Nader and Lance Armstrong.
