About Me
Money Bag Entertainment began as K-FED Records in 1995, but enlisted a name change in 2005 as a power move. The label started with one group; Kryme Patnaz, a.k.a K.P which consisted of D Boy, Playboy Brey, and Jap Millionaire. The first album released under the K-FED record label was War Zone (1999), which created a buzz in the hometown of Pensacola, FL. The second album; Hustleholic (the solo album from Playboy Brey) was released twice in 2003 due to high demand, and a surplus of material that was recorded for the album. A year later, the solo album from D Boy "Young N Restless" was released. The Young N Restless album was an instant hit. The K-FED personnel and staff dedicated more than two and a half years advertising, promoting, and grinding D Boy’s freshman album. During the final stages of the D Boy album, K-FED artists took to the studio once again to do what they do best. During this period, the artist and staffed dedicated countless hours in the studio developing a sound and style that K-FED could call their own. After countless hours, days, nights, weeks, and months in the studio, the whole K-FED staff found their swag, and created a sound that was unique, universal, and more marketable to a broader audience. With their new found swag and direction, the bosses of K-FED record deemed it necessary to make a power move. Thus, the name Money Bag Entertainment was created. Along with the name change came a new network of business partners, affiliates, and staff. One of the more critical moves was the decision to enlist new management. With a proven track record, a large network of affiliates, and an endless amount of business opportunities, Money Bag Entertainment decided to sign with K.P Management (no affiliation to previously mentioned K-FED Records). Money Bag Entertainment is currently in the process of finishing their first album to be released under their new name. The title of the album is “Hear All About Itâ€. It is due to release this winter.
