I was born in 1979 in Mobile, AL. Music is my life.. As far back as I can remember I was a dreamer. Always knowing I would make it on my own doing what I love to do without having to work for "the man" for the rest of my life, I refused to punch a clock. I could have took the easy way out, but selling drugs landed me locked away in a federal prison for 37 months!
I made another commitment that I would never go back and I never have!
I made music my driving force to success! my family told me I was crazy. but at 17 I got my first job in the business as a urban radio DJ. from there I went on to produce and record records. I started a record label (South-Lab Records) at 18 and before I was 19, I had released the FIRST independent rap record in Mobile, AL's history sparking the creation of Southern Alabama's music scene as we now know it.
From there I opened recording studios in mobile and recorded and mixed records from the likes of C-Nile, The Last Mr. Bigg, II TIGHT, Hittman and more. until around 2005, if a good record came out of mobile, I probably touched it along the way!
I moved to Atlanta for 2 years, working with artists and producers from Kieth Sweat to Destiny's Child. I lived in nashville Nashville and Toured around the country 5 times or more!. I've worked retail for labels such as Koch, Loud, Rap-A-Alot and Select-O-Hits. And now, Im Half of Evolution Media Inc. Mobiles media GIANT!! were me and Alex "lexx" King run a multi-million dollar media company were we press CDs/DVDS, Print Posters, Flyers, T-Shirts, shoot and edit music videos and movies, record and produce music and consult with other artist and companies to help them brand their label and make their music and products a success. and we do all of this in house under one roof! I guess you could say, I've done it all, and I still continue to use every piece of knowledge I've learned along the way to continue to DO IT ALL!! if you need something in this business. Holla @ me!
