About Me
COMING SOON, new songs including the single How Do I Know!!!
“Liesa is positioned to take the music world by storm. With scintillating hot looks and sizzling music, she looks to be on the verge of becoming the next big Canadian Diva.â€
So boasts The Vancouver Sun about Liesa Norman.
10 commercial and accessible alternative pop hits written by Liesa Norman. The album is produced by Dave Thompson, mixed by Ken Lewis
(6 time Grammy winner, 19 US number ones and 38 Gold and Platinum records) and mastered by Emily Lazar and Sarah Register at The Lodge (who’ve also worked on such musical greats as David Bowie, Beyoncé, Garbage, and Barbra Streisand to name a few).
The first single "How Do I Know" shows Liesa in fine vocal form, questioning her lover’s amore. A perfect alternative pop hit that will have listeners tuning in and wanting more. Liesa’s rich musical history was born from years playing classical flute and piano on main stages around the world, composing music for film and television as well as holding a doctorate in music.
This new offering showcases Dr Liesa Norman the artist, the woman, the personality. It is only here where we hear Liesa’s true introspect, perception and the reaction to her world. An intimate and often times extroverted portrayal of Liesa’s perfect and not so perfect paradigm, all delivered with an honesty and beauty in a way only Liesa can. The album is an eclectic blend of melody, groove and sound all delivered in an alternative pop format that fans of Beck, Bjork, Coldplay, Feist and Madonna can easily digest. Liesa is currently shooting her first video for "How Do I Know" and is in pre-production for a touring schedule that will see her perform across Canada and beyond in 2006/2007.
