Right now, I'm very interested in sleeping since I hardly ever seem to get the chance to do it.I've always liked anything athletic until my car accident last fall -- let's hope I get back to being that way when I have a normal foot again. People who know me well know that I love reading; but, again, law school texts tend to dampen that drive. I was heavily back into ballet and dance for the past few years but again -- I've been a magnet for car accidents. And I'm not even interested in those...
Your Psyche is Blue
You are deeply emotional and very connected to everything (and everyone) around you.
By simply understanding other people, you are able to help them heal and let go.
While you are a very deep and thoughtful person, you do have a very silly, superficial side.
When you are too blue: the weight of the world's problems hangs over you
When you don't have enough blue: you lack perspective and understanding
What Color Is Your Psyche?
You Are Rain
You can be warm and sexy. Or cold and unwelcoming.
Either way, you slowly bring out the beauty around you.
You are best known for: your touch
Your dominant state: changing
What Type of Weather Are You?
You Were Born Under:
Popular and crafty, you are a master at the art of seduction.
You are intelligent and intuitive - and make a savvy businessperson.
You live life to the fullest, even if it means maxing out your credit cards.
Many people are secretly (and hopelessly) in love with you.
You are most compatible with a Rooster or Ox.
What Year Were You Born Under?
Hmmm. I don't know how to answer that question. I usually meet people by coincidence, accident or necessity. Or sometimes through other firends. Classic INTP. I can say that all the people I've met and tried to continue to stay in touch with are people I'm glad to know!
Is life. I'm a lyrics fanatic. My favorite musician is, of course, my fabulously talented husband whom I love and adore. From industrial metal to indie rock to country to opera -- I have pretty varied musical tastes. Some personal favorites are Siouxsie Sioux, David Bowie, Letters to Cleo, Ennio Morricone, Merril Bainbridge, Orff, Nine Inch Nails, The Pixies, Rusted Root, Faithless, Save Ferris, Beck, Massive Attack, Chicago, The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, Blackmores Night... the list could go on forever.
Are generally not worth the cost of a theatre ticket unless they have primo cinematography. Otherwise, let me know when Blockbuster has its pre-viewed DvDs on deep discount... I love to watch just about any movie, even bad movies -- I just object to paying outrageous prices so studios can pay celebrities salaries far beyond what they're worth.
Television is evil and ratings driven. I prefer to participate in reality; not watch it. Except football -- I can't afford tickets to all the games I'd want to see and, well, let's face it, I'm not exactly cut out to play in the NFL.
Must reads: The History of Luminous Motion; Vox; Black Alice; The Restraint of Beasts; Confederacy of Dunces; Flatland; The Ice Queen ... ...Favorites: WoT (addict); Anthem; A Grief Observed; The Great Divorce; The Great Gatsby; The Giving Tree; Catch-22; Watership Down; The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night, I love Catherine Coulter for being more than a cheesy romance novelist and anything by Poe or Shakespeare ... ...Worth Reading: Dress your Family in Denim and Corduroy; The Knife Thrower and Other Stories; The Things They Carried; The Secret Life of Bees; The Queen of the Big Time ... ...Most Hated Book: Middlemarch (I could NOT stop falling asleep) ... ... ...Unfortunately, most of my books are in boxes in my garage in my no-space for bookshelves townhouse, and I am SO bad at remembering names.
My Daddy will always be my numero uno hero =)My Scooby, he's a purdy close second - I am the most fortunate of women to have a husband whom I know I can trust completely.
