To all appearances, Christopher Wade's demeanor is demure and unassuming, however his emotive and captivating discography suggests that there is more beneath that surface of modesty. His most recent projects; the genre-bending solar grooves of "Feels Good" and the back-to-basics vocal house anthem "Broke" were inspired by Wade's experiences living in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Both releases exude a sensation of longing & solitude coupled with a keen sense of spacial arrangement.
"There was nothing going on so I had tons of time to absorb the landscape growing up," says Wade. "I was really attracted to the expansiveness of the urban areas, the thickness of the air, the calmness of the street... it was only natural to translate these ideas into my music, and no matter where I go that Cleveland vibe stays with me."
As one of the most favorable electro/house DJs in Providence, Christopher Wade modifies this vibe for the dance floor, performing at exclusive clubs, lofts and house parties with the Lovelife collective. Be sure to keep in touch with him, as he has a true dedication to his listeners. "I'm always down for trading music with people. Get in touch with me and I might send you something special!"
