My Influences vary because I am a very complex person (just ask anyone whose ever tried to date me). I listen to alot of classic rock and indie rock, it's not to be trendy or whatever. I just can't stand most mainstream pop, and I don't even want to get started on current popular hip hop. I never got into music for fame and fortune, I just wanted to write songs that people like. As an artist, I can only feel whole when I can express myself through music, it gives me a sense of satisfaction to complete a song or verse that I can't get from anything else. So far I've lead a pretty remarkible life and it brings me great pleasure to share my experiances with others through the songs I write. I believe that one's influences become strongly presant in the art one makes no matter what that person's medium might be. Therefore, I try to listen to as many different forms of music as possible so my shit doesn't come out sounding like everything else on the market. Even though I'm constantly being compared to Eminem, as a white hip hop artist in this day and age however, I think the comparison is unavoidable. I don't concider the comparison as a diss' actually I hold alot of respect for Mr. Mathers. What does bother me are the folks who are too quick to judge and dissmiss my music due to their opinion without giving it a decent listen first. But whatever! I never tried to make everyone happy, it's impossible. So if you don't like it then choke on the M.F. and it wasn't made for you anyway.
