REVIEWS, FEEDBACK etc...

"...a knack for tension-filled song arrangement...alternating smoothly between 60s and 70s rock and 90s alternative rock..." Thomas Stern, Bands in Berlin Magazine

"...wistful pop songs which avoid grandiose gestures...music which in times of budget-driven hype sounds pleasantly straightforward and honest..." Daniel Hektor, ONETAKE Magazine

"The singer is brilliant and tells a good story."

STORY

How does one deal with the feeling of being a stranger in a strange land, far from home and surrounded by the unknown? Well, if you are a musician you probably write songs about it and, if you are lucky, you meet others who want to join you on your musical journey. Along the way new travel companions are found and others leave on their own path and some roads lead to dead ends while others lead to new possibilities and perhaps, somewhere along the way, a band is formed.

Full body mirror's musical travel diary is based on the songs of Canadian singer/guitarist Paul McCormick. In 2000 Paul left his homeland and moved to Berlin, Germany where he began playing solo in the city's smaller clubs and cafés. He soon met other musicians who were interested in the music and wanted to form a band. With Phil Cooksey on keyboard, Stephan Liedigk on bass and backing vocals and Daniel Ahl on drums, Paul now tells his stories on a new level with the support this unique musical combination.

Hopes and fears, the journey through life in search of moments of satisfaction and the struggle to truly live instead of letting life pass you by: these are the topics Paul deals with in his songwriting. The band calls the music "dramatic rock" ranging from piano ballads to guitar-driven rockers. Sometimes melancholy, occasionally pensive and always personal, the music takes the listener on a voyage through the trials and tribulations of life on the outside.

In January 2006 full body mirror released their first EP "Yearn" which is available through www.phonector.com.
