I am an ordinary approachable person, like various travel opportunities and adventures.Poet
As a Spoken Word Artist I have performed in various venues, schools, universities & shows throughout the United States and abroad in such place like Ghana, Dubai, Tanzania, France, Italy, Antigua, Cuba, Mexico, & Puerto Rico.Filmmaker
Several films that I have directed and produced, including 19,340: the Ascension of Dreams, a documentary that chronicles my recent trip to Tanzania, East Africa where I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. I am also currently in production of my next film, The Day After Yesterday: Dedicated to Fathers & Sons, a documentary film that explores the dynamics of family, community and the relationship of the Father as Son and the Son as Father.Teacher
I have been teaching poetry for nearly 10 years, most recently at Urban Assembly Media High School in New York City, where I am now the Mediation Specialist/ Dean of Students. Learning from and teaching to the youth is one of my passions that I enjoy. My ultimate teaching goal to to found an international art-infused school on the continent of Africa.Child of God
I believe that the Most High God has been a great influence in my life and its direction. He has blessed me with the strength, energy, passion & talents to help His people and give of myself to heal this world, especially the youth and the helpless. Rather through my community involvement, spoken word ventures, world travels, mentoring or teaching experiences, He is there with me speaking His Power through me.
